Las Vegas Boulevard

The southbound side of the strip was used by the Vegas F1 and was resurfaced. Best road surface I’ve ever driven on!

Traffic on this side was fairly quiet as we trundled along. A lot of the scaffolding, lighting, stands etc is still present and slowly being dismantled. The Bellagio fountains are still obscured…

On the northbound side, the road surface is untouched by F1 and is as rutted and broken as it’s ever been.

West Harmon traffic was awful as they are (very slowly) removing the circuit lighting.

Lots of self driving cars on the strip. Mostly IONIQ5’s rigged with arrays of cameras and sensors. I assume these are in testing as they were basically driving circuits in convoy.

We stopped on the way down the strip to take the obligatory Welcome to Las Vegas sign photo..

We also tracked down a guitar shop to fulfil a request from home.

Guitar heaven for those so inclined
