Randy’s Donuts

Completely forgot to photograph dinner… at Famous Foods. Sort of a high tech food court. In theory you order on a central touchscreen from multiple venues what food you want and the message you when to collect.

I say in theory as over half of the touch screen weren’t working. We ordered and paid, but received no confirmation or messages. Eventually tracked down the manager and they just said “oh it doesn’t work with non-USA phone numbers“ which, to be fair, they did agree was stupid!

So with all the hassle I didn’t take a single picture.

However, we did go to Randy’s Donuts for dessert… half a dozen donuts..

Chocolate original (okay, bit cakey and dry), blueberry (nice with fresh blueberries inside), two Nutella rings (is anything covered in Nutella ever bad?), a coffee ring (okay but not very coffee flavoured) and a bacon caramel long (wrong on almost every level).

The bacon was very strong in flavour and the texture was weird. As a breakfast option, possibly okay. But it’s not a pudding!

Still have some left the day after. Show no sign of ever going stale!
