Flight recap…

A few extra thoughts and pics from the flight.

New seats are very good. Funny ridge in floor and if you have size 11 feet the recess when lying flat that you lower legs go into is a bit tight.

Storage areas are good. Door on your “suite” offers additional privacy, but can’t help think it’s just something else to break/rattle!

The media system is a huge leap forward. Big screen, the controller has its own screen and both can display different content.

Jus’ food options.. soup, pasta and apricot soufflé. All very good.

Ratty enjoyed the new A350 too

Second service was an hour before we landed. It was nice that it wasn’t some sandwiches. We both had the smoke chicken starter and jus skipped the main. I had the pesto pasta. The dessert was a ginger crème caramel. All good.

I liked this shiny new A350. I still remember the upper deck of the 747 with possibly rose tinted spectacles, but this aircraft is great. It’s only a few months old. Be interesting to see how the interior and new business class seats stand up to the test of time..
