Here we go again…

Vegas bound.. in a few hours. Currently tucked away in a corner of the lounge having breezed through checkin AND security in less than ten minutes.

The journey to this point has been mildly irritating. Arrival at T3 Short Stay was made confusing by roadworks, poor signage and crap lighting.

The T3 hotel transpired to be in T2. It took an hour from arriving at T3 to get to our room!

The room booked was one with a “View”….

Of a car park. I assume the non-view rooms either have no windows or overlook a bin store.

You can peer round for a view of the runway I suppose. Tiny window though.

T3 is louder and less pleasant than T5. Landside seems to undergoing extensive construction. On the plus side the checkin and security process was fast with next to no waits.

Plenty of shopping opportunities for those so inclined. Not me. Nor many others, as the premium shops had far more staff than customers.

Lounge is fine. We are by a window and near a TV showing “Homes Under the Hammer”.

I suppose I should go an inspect the food options. Long missed the breakfast options.
