Final morning and it’s another beautiful day here in the Keys. 100 mile drive to Miami… will set off at 11am and probably stop off for lunch on the way. This has been a very relaxing few days. I suspect South Beach to be a bit more frenetic.
Spent the rest of the day doing almost nothing. watched the wildlife… Popped up the road to S S Wreck. A sports bar / restaurant. This is properly relaxing. I do wish there were a couple of food/drink options in walking distance. Having to drive everywhere is a faff. They are completing an on-site restaurant and bar (in addition to their current tiki bar). Still, with views like this…

This is a tiny, but beautiful resort. Only 30 odd rooms and never feels busy or crowded. Just having a coffee and then setting off for Key West – no doubt with various stops en route. A day of this… And this… Did a Publix run earlier to grab a couple of salad bowls and deli stuff for sandwiches. There is nowhere to go for food that doesn’t involve driving, so if you want to do cocktails, you have to meal plan accordingly!
