Bongos

Needed some bits from Walgreens (pharmacy like Boots), so popped into Marathon.

Intention had been to go to the Wooden Spoon for brunch, but it was very busy. So we headed back past the resort and tried Bongos Cafe instead.

Bongos is a cafe, botanical gardens, water sports, saloon bar, volleyball club… laid back beach bum vibe!

Brunch was a Bongos BLT, breakfast hammy (bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese toasty and an avocado toast.

The menu is pretty limited with only half a dozen options, plus a specials board with a similar number. All the food was freshly prepared and tasty – albeit quite expensive,
