Welcome to crazy/flavour town

Headed out to find a very late lunch.

Hyper busy… seemingly endless entertainment possibilities. It is not “us” but it is for a lot of people. Actually, I kind of wish we had a couple of days here as I suspect there is more to the place than candy shops and Ripleys Believe it or Not.

We found a Guy Fieri Chicken place. Guy was the host of a food programme – Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. He is that blend on interesting and irritating in equal measure, but his restaurants do pretty well and he has several in Vegas.

We had a BBQ chicken sandwich and a Southwest – fries and deep fried pickles. Oh and a chocolate shake.

Have to admit, it exceeded expectations. It was very good. Price wise, it’s in the Five Guys territory, so not cheap. But, as fast food goes, this was excellent. When we go to Vegas later in the year this will be on the list of cheap dinners!

We continued our walk around Gatlinburg – we soon reached a sensory overload! Decided to head back and have a cocktail at the hotel.
