Miami Nash
Hmmm… hot, no shade, a good reminder of why we aren’t fans of Miami..
Cocktails were pretty average. Beer was refreshing. Views so-so.
Abandoned this “trendy” option and headed down to the hotels bar/restaurant “Ellingtons”
Cooler, more relaxed, but not exactly million dollar views!
Staff, drinks and fellow patrons were good.
Impressive bourbon selections – pours ranging from $15 to $225. Guess which end we aimed for!
We shared a charcuterie board and pimento appetiser. Really, very very good – and tried a couple of bourbons.
Ellingtons turned out to be much more laid back than we expected. The 70s style USA is nicer than the UK!
The restrooms had interesting artworks/adverts from that period.
We whiled away an hour or two before heading back to our room to freshen up before this evenings stadium acts.
