Nissan Stadium
The stadium was only a twenty minute walk from the hotel. The road closures, fenced off walkways, police traffic officers etc made the walk super easy… even if it seemed uphill in both directions!
Stadium has slick security and pass checking and we were in our seats within minutes of arriving.
The seats are club level, a few steps away from the club lounge with plenty of food/drink options, toilets, air-conditioned seating. The view, whilst on the second level, was pretty good.
Jo Dee Messina (Heads Carolina, Tails California) was the first set we watched. Whilst the main stage was being reconfigured between acts a smaller stage provided entertainment.
Jordan David was up next, followed by one of my favourites Luke Combs.
Plus surprise performance by Darius Rucker.
TV filming for a big CMA Fest 50Th in July kept interrupting the show. Luke Hardy is one of the hosts and was asking the audience to pretend it was the end of the show.. or Eric Church was the next act etc.
Elle King was also involved it the tv filming so I’m hoping she turns out to be one of the surprise guest.
We did grab some fried chicken from one of the food stands – distinctly average!
We left shortly before the end as we were knackered and wanted to beat the crowds. The return walk was as easy as the outbound and we were back in our hotel by 1am.
The walk back over the bridge gives a great view of Nashvilles skyline
