Flight was over three hours late departing… Food options were chaotic. First time the new, post covid menus had operated and there are a few testing problems. Two hours?
Medical emergency on board. Pilot request paramedics – took over two hours for them to arrive. Currently over three hours late but there seems to be a flurry of activity now.
Painful boarding…
Wow, that took forever… They boarded the lower deck first! But we are onboard, wedged in our seats… champagne at hand.
Lounge B
Ah-ha – bagged seats with a view. Funny, the A380 doesn’t look so big when parked with other A380s B lounge is relatively peaceful. Did have an idiot shouting into his hands free about loan-to-value and how the customer had unrealistic expectations… now gone.
Heathrow
Checked in and through security in 15 minutes. Got the works at security too… scanned, re-scanned, frisked/massaged, swabbed. All happened quickly and I was ejected from the system with bags and belt in a plastic tray whilst trying to hold my trousers up.
